Our slogan is uncomplicated and to the point, "PLAY IT FORWARD."
Fantasy Maxam is a non-profit organization whose sole purpose to help support charitable organizations through fantasy sports. When you are having fun supporting charities...EVERYBODY WINS!
The Fantasy Maxam family of websites are:
Fantasy Maxam is an extension of the charitable efforts of L’roy Anthony and Dee Dee Hale, who are parents of a special needs son with Autism. After seeing the challenges experienced by too many families in the Autism community, they left the corporate world and founded ARF, a federally recognized 501c3 charitable organization in 2007.
The Hales hosted Autism Talks, a radio show to assist families with Autism for multiple years on KFNX in Phoenix, AZ. The success of the show enabled them to meet many great people who performed exceptional charitable endeavors outside of the Autism community. They decided to expand their focus beyond Autism and help promote all non-profit groups.
The Hales are sports enthusiasts and avid fantasy football fans. Their goal was to utilize fantasy football as a national fundraiser to support non-profit groups and their worthwhile efforts that make a positive impact on our communities. Fantasy Maxam, a subsidiary of ARF, was the vehicle created to make their dream a reality.
Together with John Cooper, they formed the fantasy football services Fantasy First and Fantasy Football for Females as resource tools to assist participants/supporters with the fantasy contests. Proceeds from all of the Fantasy Maxam family of websites go to support charities.
Fantasy Gives is the home for our fantasy sports fundraiser contests. The game format is the same as those found on the popular daily fantasy sports websites (ex. FanDuel© and Draft Kings©).
Fantasy Gives will soon expand beyond football with national fundraisers for other major fantasy sports and special events. We are working on adding baseball, basketball, hockey, golf and auto racing to our portfolio. We are also looking to add nationwide fundraisers for award shows such as the Oscars, Grammys, etc.
Participants/supporters can have fun playing fantasy sports while supporting their favorite charity. The contests are affordable for all, easy for the novice fans (men and women) and participants/supporters can even win thousands of dollars in money and prizes for the charitable efforts.
Through our fundraisers, non-profit groups could generate significant revenue for their programs and services. These funds help make it possible for non-profit groups to make a positive impact on our communities.
As a non-profit ourselves, we have experienced the pitfalls of fundraising and we have eliminated the typical fundraiser challenges.
- No costs to participate
